TOPEKA, Kan. -- Gage Boulevard to eastbound I-470 entrance ramp will be closed for pavement repair work beginning at 12:01 a.m. Midnight on Wednesday, August 1 and will reopen to all traffic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2.
Advance message boards will alert traffic to the ramp closure. No marked detour will be provided. Drivers should expect major delays, especially during the morning commute on Thursday, and must use alternate routes during the ramp closure.

The Kansas Department of Transportation urges all motorists to be alert, obey the warning signs, and “Give ‘Em a Brake!” when approaching and driving through the project work zone.
