House Approves Autism Coverage

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Five hours of debate Wednesday night ended with the Kansas House approving a measure granting insurance coverage for autism.

Their 92 to 30 vote sends the measure to the Senate.

The bill requires insurers to cover treatment and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders in those aged 19 and under.
