This position requires excellent communication, the ability to travel within the state of Kansas and stay overnight for up to two consecutive days is required. This individual will work with members of various project teams, partners/stakeholders, healthcare delivery personnel, Kansas Medicare beneficiaries and others in the planning for mobilization, implementation, evaluation and reporting of KFMC’s special projects, including quality improvement, community organizing and beneficiary outreach projects.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor degree with education and/or experience in communications, journalism, marketing or outreach. Healthcare specific experience in communications, marketing, outreach or project management is preferred. This position requires excellent communication and public presentation skills, as these skills will be needed to communicate complex ideas to varying audience types including Medicare beneficiaries and healthcare providers alike. Operates the Amada Press Brake/Shear in accordance with production schedules. Operate iron worker. Operate Amada Press Brake/Shear. Ability to prepare and run complex break setups and forming operations. This includes custom punch/die modification used in combination with other tooling (either standard or custom). Complex programming using all features of the press brake. E.g. bending at angles, step bends, proper back gauge transfer between steps, delays, etc. Must have a full understanding of print reading and geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part. Thorough understanding of flat pattern layout. Ability to work well with others in a leadership environment • Ability to properly classify capability levels of personnel within the department allowing proper division of work flow. Ability to train less experienced operators. Work in an efficient and timely manner. Keep work area, including machine surfaces clean at all times. • Work with Material Handler to make sure material for each job is on schedule and in the proper location. Identify areas for process improvement, cost and waste reduction.

Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Punctual, able to work with minimum supervision. Computer literate, excellent organizational skills. Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment, positive attitude. Math & mechanical aptitude. Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
