TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- With the holiday season here domestic violence can become more prevalent.

Many in the Topeka area are coming forward after years of abuse during this holiday season.

Domestic violence is on the rise but not specific to the holiday season but more and more agencies and shelters are noticing an increase of victims coming forward.
