TOPEKA, Kan, (WIBW) - A highway hit and run Saturday evening just after 6 p.m. sends the driver of a passenger car to the hospital.
The driver of a Dodge Neon had just entered I-470 westbound at the Gage Boulevard on-ramp when another passenger hit her car in the back and then sped away.
The woman suffered non-substantial injuries and was taken by AMR to the hospital as a precaution. Two passengers with her are okay.
Police say she was traveling at the speed of traffic.
No information on the hit and run driver in the other car is known at this time. Police are interviewing witnesses.
