The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary and theft that occurred in the 4200 block of John Brown Road between 11:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M. on January 21, 2011. Taken from the residence was a Colt 45 Peacemaker black powder cartridge six shooter with a 4 ½ inch barrel and black grips. Also taken were 2 comforters, 1 brown and 1 blue along with 2 jackets. The total loss was estimated at around $10,000 by the owner.
