TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A pre-trial hearing is set for a defamation case against a Topeka Municipal Court judge.
A case management conference took place Tuesday for Joseph Ledbetter's lawsuit against Vic Miller. The hope was to settle their differences without going to trial. Ledbetter says, when Miller was a Shawnee County Commissioner, Miller stated in a public meeting Ledbetter failed the bar exam three times. Ledbetter says he failed it once.
The pre-trial hearing will begin June 7th of next year.
