Community Action Holding Two Food Giveaways This Week

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Fill up your pantry Wednesday and Friday at one of two scheduled free food distributions.

Mobile Pantries:

- Wednesday:

Citizen Potawatomi Nation, 806 Nishnabe Trail

12:30 - 1:30 p.m.

- Friday:

Auburn Community Center, 121 W. 11th

1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Community Action is setting up a mobile food pantry from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Citizen Potawatomi Nation in Rossville.

Another food giveaway will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Auburn Community Center.

Fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as dry goods will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

There are no income guidelines but recipients are asked to provide the number of people in their household.
