TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topekans are stepping up to help "bulge the bus."

The Big 94.5 Country and 580 WIBW radio parked the big yellow bus at the Walmart on Wanamaker Road all day Friday for the annual event.

People were invited to bulge the bus with school supplies, which will be given to needy students in our area.

Roger Montgomery of WIBW Radio says no student should go back to school under-prepared, which is why the radio stations are passionate about the event.

People who donated supplies were entered to win a VIP package for the Barnum and Bailey "Circus Party of the Century" coming up later this month at the Kansas Expocentre. The first 100 donors received a voucher for one free ticket.
