TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The stories of Kansans who lived through the Great Dust Bowl will be told in a documentary.
Documentarian Ken Burns brings the story to the small screen tomorrow on PBS with,"The Dust Bowl."
The Topeka Capital-Journal reports that tears welled up in the eyes of the Coen brothers who lost their baby sister in 1935 from dust pneumonia.
The Coens are two of seven brothers who grew up and still reside in Morton County.
The Dust Bowl, two part series airs Sunday and Monday on PBS from 7 PM to 9 PM.
