SHAWNEE CO., Kan. (WIBW) - A truck driver escaped injury when his tractor trailer rig overturned Wednesday night.
The accident happened just before 10 pm on K-4, just south of the Hwy. 24 interchange.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the driver was southbound on K-4 and was trying to negotiate the curve as it becomes Calhoun Bluffs Road, when the truck tipped on its side. Its load of grain spilled.
KHP is investigating whether speed and weight might have been factors in the accident.
The truck's driver was not hurt.
