TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Several Washburn Tech students celebrated graduation Wednesday from the Goodyear Maintenance Co-op Technician Program.
Eight grads were honored, six of whom were able to attend the ceremony.
The program was developed a decade ago, when Goodyear and Washburn Tech teamed up to improve the skills of current and prospective maintenance technicians. The course teaches craft-specific skills for electricians, mechanics and pipe-fitters. It includes lab instruction, computer-based and on-the-job training.
