TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Gov. Sam Brownback got revved up in proclaiming May as Motorcycle Awareness Month.
The Topeka Police Department's motorcycle unit pulled up to the Statehouse for a motorcycle safety demonstration as part of the event.
They and the Governor remind bikers to use all safety features when riding including wearing a helmet. They also remind all vehicle drivers to be alert for motorcycles on the road.
