TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Governor Sam Brownback announced the formation of a new task force this afternoon.
The Division of Vehicles Modernization Task Force will be in charge of examining vehicle systems and procedures around the country, and will make recommendations for how to develop a vehicles system for Kansas that becomes a national model.
Brownback says he hopes it leads to improvements that will speed up long waiting times.
"I want it to be like you are going to the grocery store," said Brownback. "You're not expecting to wait an hour to be able to get your business done for something the Government requires. And I want to get that way down and make it much more convenient."
The task force will include law enforcement, country treasurers, dealers and petroleum dealers.
