Game Wardens Active Over Memorial Day Weekend

TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)-- Enforcement Officers with the Kansas Department of Wildlife covered Kansas over the Holiday helping thousands safely enjoy the Sunflower State.

Unfortunately there was tragedy mixed with the fun as wardens were called to with searches for two drowning victims.

On Saturday, Mark Selbee, 45 of Leawood, drowned at Hilldsalr reservoir and was recovered Sunday.

On Sunday a 65 year old man drowned at Milford Reservoir. Relatives have been notified, however at the request of relatives, identification is being withheld until he has been recovered.

This is the holiday activity for 2014
