Funeral Services Set For 10 Year Old Drowning Victim

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Funeral services are set for a 10 year old girl who died from injuries sustained at an apartment complex swimming pool.

Kathryn Chandler nearly drowned may 20 at the University Heights Apartments.

She was taken to the hospital where she passesd away Monday.

A visitation for her is from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the Bennan-Mathena Funeral Home located at 800 SW 6th Avenue.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Church Of Christ located at 1250 SW College.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Central Church Of Christ Youth Group and Children's Ministries.
