TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Seaman High School community is paying tribute to an All-American classmate killed last month.
A sky lantern memorial will be held Sunday night at 9:15 p.m. across North Topeka to honor Seaman graduate Brenna Morgart.
Morgart's fellow classmate and neighbor, AJ Brown, says he's organizing the event in hopes people think of Morgart whenever they see a sky lantern.

Morgart was killed in a car collision on May 25. The driver, 20-year-old Dustin Leftwich, is held on first-degree murder charges.
