Friends Release Balloons In Honor Of Homicide Victim

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Friends of a Topeka homicide victim gathered Thursday evening to release balloons in her memory.

49-year-old Terri Sims was killed one year ago today when someone fired shots into her home in the 700 block of SW Taylor.

On Thursday, friends met in front of Golden Corral to release the pink and yellow balloons.

Terri's murder remains unsolved.
