Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) - One local church is helping to make sure you can make your Thanksgiving meal this year.
Town and Country Christian Church is hosting a free food distribution Thursday at the Kansas Neurological Institute at 3107 SW 21st.
KNI premises open at 6 a.m. with the distribution beginning at 9:30 a.m.
20,000 pounds of fresh food and 2,500 loaves of fresh bread will be given away at no charge. The food will be given away on a first come, first serve basis.
If you would like to receive food, go to the stop light at the intersection of 21st and Randolph and turn south. Signs will direct you to the distribution entrance.
