Franklin County Murder Suspect Appears In Court, Charged With Capital Murder

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Franklin County man is now officially charged with killing four people, including an 18-month old baby.

Kyle Flack made his first appearance in court at 4:00 p.m. Friday.

He is charged with four counts of murder, two counts capital murder, one count rape, and possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $10 million.

Authorities continue searching for 18-month old Lana Leigh Bailey. She is presumed dead.

The bodies of her mother and two men were found Monday on a rural Ottawa farm. A motive for the killings has not been discussed.

Prosecutors are not sure whether they will seek the death penalty.
