TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)__May is National Foster Care Month and foster families gathered to celebrate
An ice cream social was held Tuesday night to honor the numerous foster families around Topeka.
Several families showed up to the social held at the Big Gage Shelter House at Gage Park.
Attendees didn't just enjoy ice cream, they got to partake in carnival games, prizes and a raffle for adults as well.
