Fort Riley Announces Traffic Changes To Ogden & 12th St. Gates
FORT RILEY, Kan. – Beginning April 6, Fort Riley will implement new gate hours at the 12th Street and Ogden gates.
Effective Friday, April 6, the 12th Street gate will no longer be open 24 hours a day. The new hours will be weekdays from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. This gate will be closed weekends and federal holidays.
Also effective Friday, the Ogden gate will return to 24 hour operations. This gate will no longer be closed on weekends and federal holidays.
In addition to these changes, in an effort to provide for a safer morning commute, beginning April 10, Rifle Range road will be closed to thru traffic at 1st Street and no traffic will be allowed to access Trooper Drive via Rifle Range Road between 5 and 9 a.m. on workdays. All vehicle traffic will be directed to the 1st Street and Trooper Drive traffic signal.
