TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A former Marshall County Attorney will serve jail time for a conviction of theft from a church.
Brian Carroll pleaded no contest last month to charges he stole more than $70-thousand dollars from the Marysville Berean Church while serving as church treasurer.
Carroll will serve 30 consecutive days in jail, beginning December 27th.
He also must serve 24 months of probation.
