RILEY COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) - A former Riley County Police Officer will not be getting his job back.

Patrol officer Sam Hamilton was fired in 2010 for what the RCPD director said were traffic and department violations during several high speed chases.

Hamilton appealed his termination with the Riley County Law Board which ruled his firing was justified.

Hamilton then appealed to Riley County District Court. The court's decision was entered last Friday. It found the law board's findings were also justified.
