Former KBI Worker Receives Probation For Computer Crimes

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A second former Kansas Bureau of Investigation employee charged with computer crimes will serve probation.

Audry Dukes was an office support staff worker.

As part of an agreement with prosecutors, she pleaded no contest Tuesday to two counts of computer crime and two counts theft, while two other computer counts were dropped.

A judge handed Dukes a suspended jail sentence and placed her on probation.

In June, a second former KBI support staff worker charged in the case, Melissa Warrington, also received a suspended sentence and was placed on probation.
