TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Food wasn't the only item on the menu in some downtown Topeka restaurants.

The Classic Bean, Lupita's and New City Cafe welcomed the Bram Wijnands Trio, Stan Kessler and The Sons of Brasil along with the Ryan Simpson Quintet to the "Jazzin It Up Downtown."

Each band played three 30 minute sets with 15 minute breaks at the same location to allow jazz lovers to rotate to each venue.

The main event on the outdoor stage will be the K.C. Jazz Disciples.
