TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Landon Middle School girls got a special invitation to hear Kansas' First Lady Mary Brownback speak.
More than 100 students from sixth through eighth grade crowded the school's auditorium on 731 SW Fairlawn Road.
Brownback gave the girls a heart to heart about goals and giving.
She told them it was important to select service goals as well as personal goals.
Students also had lot of questions for the First Lady.
They wanted to know if and how she influences her husband, the governor, and if they really lived at Cedar Crest.
