Fireworks Can Only Be Discharged During Specific Times

Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) - With the 4th of July coming up, the city of Topeka wants to remind people when they can shoot off fireworks.

They can only legally be shot off July 1st-3rd from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. On July 4th, you can shoot them off from 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Fireworks can be Sold from June 27th-July 5th but can only be discharged during the specified dates.

People under 18 cannot possess or discharge fireworks without adult supervision and bottle rockets and sky rockets are illegal in Kansas.
