TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- A Topeka-area elementary school received a big gift from Topeka's Hy-Vee grocery store.
Keath Allen and Shawn Brown from Hy-Vee visited Farley Elementary Wednesday to present the students and staff with a $1500 Smart Board.
The gift was made possible through Hy-Vee's Smart Point promotion, which ran from September 1st through November 30th, 2012. Hy-Vee shoppers who purchased Proctor and Gamble products earned points for the schools of their choice.
Second grader Kayla Peter earned the most individual Smart Points. She received an iPad2 for her efforts.
