EMPORIA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Emporia officials have received ten reports of counterfeit currency in the city during the month of November.
The counterfeit bills have all been denominations of $100, $50, $20, $10 and $5, according to the Emporia Police Department.
Residents are being encouraged to take extra caution when accepting currency during the busy holiday season.
