TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW) - Topeka Police say one suspect in an armed robbery at East Quick Stop turned himself in on Saturday night.
Topeka Police say just after 8:30 p.m.on Saturday, Marvin Watts, 21, turned himself in at the Law Enforcement Center in connection with the robbery
Watts was booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections for Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Battery and Criminal Discharge of a Firearm.
The armed robbery happened at East Quick Stop at about 11 p.m. Friday night.
Two males entered the store on 3100 SE 6th Avenue, Topeka Police Sergeant Kristen Hren said in a release.
One of the men was armed with a handgun and held the clerk at gunpoint while the other stole property from the store.
The armed suspect discharged the gun once in the store, police say, but nobody was injured.
