TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A fire that ripped through a home just east of Topeka early Monday morning has been ruled as arson.
Crews were called to a structure fire at 210 SE Rice Road around 6 a.m.
Upon arrival Tecumseh fire crews reported that a home and garage were both fully engulfed in flames. The Topeka Fire Department was called in to assist.
Officials on scene said the home appeared to be vacant and no injuries were reported.
