TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - You can get rid of unused, unwanted or expired prescription medications this weekend.
The drug enforcement administration and local law enforcement are teaming up for national prescription drug take-back day this Saturday.
In Shawnee County, you can take those old medications to the Soldier Township Fire Department on Northwest 46th and to the Topeka Police Department on South Kansas.
The service is free and anonymous. Find other drop off locations across the state at the attorney general's website -- ag.ks.gov.
