TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Potwin Fiber Artisans (PFA) are hosting an Inaugural World Wide Knit (Stitch) in Public Day (WWKIP). Topeka, KS at the Downtown Farmers Market. We will stitch 7:30a-noon Saturday June 8, 2013. Knitters, crocheters, spinners, felters, weavers and all fiber artists welcome. We ask them to bring a chair, a project & sunscreen/hat. Our goal is to have as many fiber artists join us who are available!

The World Wide Knit (stitch) in Public Day is an international effort raising awareness of heritage fiber arts. All skill levels are invited to attend and those wishing to learn a fiber art are encouraged to join us as well. The main website for WWKIP Day http://www.wwkipday.com/

The PFA is a regional group of volunteers promoting the fiber arts through: classes, community projects and promotion of individual Fiber Artists. You can find more information about the PFA at www.potwinfiber.org.
