TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - An insurance company is trying to help employ America's youth.
State Farm presented the Topeka Youth Project with a $7,000 check Monday. The money will be used for its Jobs for Young Adults program.
JYA is a job readiness and life skills workshop for people ages 16 to 20. The workshop covers decision making, getting along with your boss and co-workers, and problem solving on the job.
It was developed by various employers in the Capital City.
