TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW-TV) -- An accomplice in the January murder of a Mayetta man is expected to be sentenced Friday.
Desiree Shopteese pleaded one month ago to a reduced charge of obstruction of apprehension for her part in the January 10th shooting death of Kevin Stanley in Mayetta.
Shopteese, along with alleged shooter Lloyd Wabaunsee, fled the home where Stanley lived with following the shooting.
They got as far as Urbandale, Iowa where the two were found in a Hy-Vee parking lot West of Des Moines.
Shopteese will be sentenced in Jackson County Court.
