SHAWNEE COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Kansas Highway Patrol says a pickup truck was traveling in the wrong lane of traffic when it was hit and flipped over on K-4 Highway Friday.
According to KHP, the Dodge pickup was driving south in the northbound lane of traffic. As a semi approached the pickup, the driver over-corrected in an effort to clear the semi's path. The semi hit the bed of the pickup and flipped it upside down.
While no injuries were reported in the crash, K-4 Highway was shutdown as crews cleared the wreckage. It remained closed as of 5:40 p.m. Friday.
The accident happened inthe 3500 block of K4 Highway north of Topeka.
