A former Netawaka couple is headed to prison on charges they molested two girls who lived in their home.
39-year old Leeann Garcia was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for 25 years. 51-year old Larry Norwood was sentenced to 2 life sentences without parole for 50 years.
Norwood was convicted may 17th in Jackson County District Court on three counts of raping a child under age 14, and four counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
Garcia was convicted May 3rd of aiding and abetting aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Prosecutors say the incidents involved girls ages 11 and 13, and happened from December 2008 to July 2009.
