OSAGE COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) -- Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn says in the last week, deputies have recovered several counterfeit $100 bills in the Lyndon and Melvern area.
The bills, she says, were used to make purchases at local businesses.
Sheriff Dunn says the problem is also being reported in Coffey County.
Anyone with information about the counterfeit money is asked to contact Osage County Crimestoppers at 1-877-OS-CRIME.
