Chad Manspeaker
(WIBW) - Supporters are encouraging Topeka City Councilman Chad Manspeaker to run for mayor.
Manspeaker says he's been asked several times to consider running, but won't make a final decision until after the new year.
Mayor Bill Bunten has said he will not seek re-election.
No one has announced their candidacy yet. The filing deadline for the April election is January 22nd.
Manspeaker was elected as the District 6 councilman in April 2011.
