TOPEKA, Kan(WIBW)--Corvette collectors and enthusiasts from across the country were in Topeka Saturday, paying support to veterans and their families
The 53rd annual National Council of Corvette Clubs convention rolled in to the capital city, kicking off with a salute to the US military.
American Legion posts 410 and 421, and the Topeka Santa Fe Band made appearances.
Collectors told us why honoring the veterans at the convention is so important.
The corvette parade will be on Wednesday. It will feature 150 corvettes - driving from the Capitol Plaza Hotel, to Heartland Park, finishing with a parade lap around the track.
