TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) -- Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins hopes to provide options for Kansans struggling to find work.
She is hosting her 4th Annual Jobs Fair on Friday, September 27 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Kansas Expocentre Agriculture Hall.
The fair is free, open to the public and welcomes any business currently seeking employees.
Those looking for a job don't have to register, but can find out more at www.lynnjenkins.house.gov/jobsfair.
Employers can register online or call Bill Roe at 785-234-5966.
"I continue to hear from Eastern Kansans who are struggling to find work and provide for their families during these tough times. The jobs fair is one effort to help these folks by connecting Kansans who are looking for work with businesses that are actually hiring," Congresswoman Jenkins said. "I am pleased that we already have several businesses registered to attend, including representatives from health care, manufacturing, financial services and education industries."
