(WIBW) - Voters in the Concordia school district will have a $5.5 million bond issue up for vote in November.
The Concordia Blade Empire reports USD 333 school board members on Monday night approved putting the issue on the ballot.
Money would go toward improvements at Concordia Elementary School. Plans call for building a storm shelter with four classrooms and replacing the heating, cooling and ventilation system.
The bond would add two mills to the district's current property tax rate.
