TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- A local computer store worker who says he often teaches people how to prevent hackers affecting his customers got hacked himself.
Jim Driggers, President of The Computer Store in Topeka says he often makes online purchases and recently shopped at Target.
He isn't sure how it happened but he says a thief stole his debit card information and made $1,500 worth of purchases at gas stations and restaurants in California and Arkansas.
Envista Credit Union called him and notified him his debit card would be cancelled.
Driggers says Envista Credit Union only took a few days to reverse all the charges and replace the money in his account.
