TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka drivers can expect detours and delays along a couple busy stretches of street.
The first closure impacts one lane of SW 21st St. between Arvonia and Urish. The lane closure begins Thursday, Feb. 28.
Westar crews are relocating a power pole and lines before beginning street work. They'll work 8:30 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. Construction is expected to be complete on March 15th.
A complete closure begins Monday, March 4th, on S. 45th St. The road will close from Topeka to Adams for a rebuilding project.
A detour will be posted using Topeka Blvd., 53rd St. and Adams St. Construction is expected to continue through November 22nd.
