(WIBW) - The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in finding a man who attempted to rob a local Best Western motel.
The incident occurred just before 10:30 pm at 601 E. Poyntz in Manhattan. Authorities say the man came into the motel holding a knife and demanding money. The night clerk hit him with a phone and he ran off with nothing.
The suspect is described as a medium build man wearing black clothing, a black hoodie, and a bandana covering his face.
