FROM TPD -- The Topeka Police Department will hold the National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course Saturday, October 15, at the Law Enforcement Center, 320 S. Kansas Avenue. This course will offer practical knowledge and techniques to avoid crashes, and to choose safe, responsible and lawful driving behaviors.
This course is open to the public and teen drivers may attend as well.
Each attendee must have in their possession a Driver’s License or Permit. After completing the course, you will receive a National Safety Council DDC Certificate of Completion. Registration will begin at 7:45 with class beginning at 8:00 a.m. This will be a six hour classroom training session, and there is a $15.00 fee for this class.
