TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- One Topeka woman opened up her home for a Christmas celebration for her entire neighborhood.
Deborah Edwards originally wanted to do something nice for just one of her neighbors, a father and his family, but then she realized the more the merrier.
"We wanted to do something special for them, but that wouldn't be fair to the other children. So, we decided to make this for all the kids. That's what its all about, the spirit of Christmas is about giving," said Edwards.
Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus stopped in to meet the children and their parents and handed out goodie bags and gifts.
Edwards added that the night ended up so successful, she wants to get more people involved and make this a yearly tradition.
