TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Two Topeka schools were busy showing off their school pride Friday.
Topeka West was celebrating their Homecoming with a parade around their neighborhood near SW 21st and Fairlawn. Students held banners while homecoming king and queen candidates rode around in cars.
The Chargers are taking on the Manhattan Indians at Hummer Sports Park.
Also celebrating Homecoming are the Seaman Vikings. People packed the streets around Logan Elementary and the North Topeka KMart for the school's parade.
The Vikings will take on the Trojans of Topeka High.
