TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka's business leaders found their inner child at the Kansas Children's Discovery center Wednesday morning.
The Center hosted the Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce's power breakfast. Attendees learned about the Discovery Center's progress since opening in June 2011 and its plans for the future. They also were invited to tour the facility.
Chamber members also heard an update on the future of air service in Topeka, including a federal grant that could launch flights to Chicago.
In the spirit of the holidays, President and CEO Doug Kinsinger and others shared their letters to Santa, asking for things like improvements to downtown and more businesses.
